Bhikshapathi Farms

Bhikshapathi Farms is my place at H. No:-3-37/2 in Kothur. We are located in the Khanapur area of Warangal. I’ve been at this address for a long time. The farm isn't anything special to look at, just a working farm with fields and some storage sheds. I wake up early, usually before the sun, to get a head start on the day. There is always a lot to do like clearing weeds or fixing the fences that the wind knocks down. My kids help me sometimes but they have their own things going on too. We grow what we can and try to keep the costs down. It’s a tough business because you are always at the mercy of the rain. If it doesn't rain, we worry. If it rains too much, we worry about the roots rotting. That’s just the life of a farmer in Warangal. You can find us easily enough if you ask anyone in Kothur. We are known in the village. I don't have a big office or a fancy truck. I just have my boots and the land. It’s enough for us and we’ve been doing okay so far. Most of our tools are old but they still get the job done if you treat them with a bit of care and patience.
