Bekyam Vimla Devi

Setting up here in Warangal was a big step for me. My name is Bekyam Vimla Devi, and I’ve been running things in the 506002 area for quite a while now. It’s a modest place, tucked away where it’s a bit quieter than the main road. I don’t believe in having a lot of bells and whistles. I keep the space clean and organized so I can find what I need when someone asks. Most of the people who come by are neighbors or friends of friends. We usually sit down and have a glass of water before we start discussing what they need. I think it’s important to treat people like humans rather than just another number in a book. My kids sometimes come by after school to help me tidy up or run small errands. It’s very much a family-run feeling here. I’ve learned a lot about this business just by doing it every single day, year after year. There were times when things were tough, but the community in Warangal is supportive. You get to know the shopkeepers nearby and we all look out for each other. I don’t have a website or any of that stuff. If people want to find me, they usually just ask around. It’s a slow and steady way to live, and it suits me just fine. I’m just happy to be able to work in my own town.
