Banda Gattamma

In the village of Komalla, you can find us at 1-98. Banda Gattamma is a small local business that has been part of Raghunathpally for quite some time now. We mostly deal with agricultural supplies and general items that the local farmers might need for their daily work. Our shop is right in the heart of the community. We do not have any big signs or bright lights to attract people. It is just a simple building where we keep our stock of seeds and tools. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who stop by for a chat. Since it is a small place, we know everyone’s name and their family history. The work changes with the seasons. When it is planting time, we are very busy from dawn until dusk, and when things are growing, it gets a bit quieter around the shop. We do not have a manager or any kind of human resources department. It is just a few of us making sure the shelves are not empty. We keep our records in a simple ledger book that sits on the main desk. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights to see the stock. It is a peaceful way of living, even if the work is physical and tiring. We do not use any marketing tricks to get people inside the door. They come here because they trust us.
