About Organic Basket – Building & Construction Material in Warangal
We are located right on Bala Samudram Road, and if you come by early enough, you’ll see the crates arriving. The place is usually full of the smell of fresh earth and whatever greens came in that morning. We don’t have those fancy plastic-wrapped vegetables you see in the big supermarkets. Everything here looks a bit more natural, maybe with a little bit of dirt still on the carrots. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the produce to make sure nothing is bruised or going soft. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the wooden boxes, and my back usually feels it by the afternoon. We talk to a lot of people who are worried about what they eat, so we try to keep things as simple as possible. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit crowded when a few customers are in at once. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of fans to keep the air moving so the fruit stays fresh. Sometimes a delivery is late because of the traffic on the road, and we just have to wait around. It’s a quiet way to make a living, just dealing with food that grows in the ground. We just want to get the stuff from the farm to the kitchen without too much fuss. We have a small chalkboard where we write down what came in fresh that morning, though my handwriting isn't always the easiest to read. It's just a simple shop for people who care about what's on their dinner plate.
