About Badramma Chicken Center – Food & Beverages in Warangal
I run the Badramma Chicken Center at house number 1-193. We are located in Gopya Thanda, which is part of the Geesugonda area. It’s a small shop where I spend most of my day. I start early to get the birds ready before the first customers show up. The shop is simple, just some cages and a cutting block. I try to keep the place as clean as I can, but it’s a messy job. People from the thanda come here because they know I’ve been here a long time. Sundays are the busiest days for us. Everyone wants meat for their lunch, so I barely have time to sit down. I have a small scale to weigh everything out. Sometimes we run out of stock early if there’s a local festival. I don’t have any fancy machines, just my knives and a sturdy table. The floor needs washing down many times a day. It gets loud with all the chickens and people talking. I know how most people like their meat cut. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements. People just know the location near the main path. It’s hard work on my hands and my legs get tired from standing. But it’s how I make a living here in Geesugonda. I close up once everything is sold or it gets too dark to see. It’s just a local shop for the neighborhood and it pays the bills. Sometimes my son helps out on weekends.
