Azeema Dairy Farms

My family runs this dairy farm out in Potharajpally. The address is H. No -1-79/2, Potharajpally, Geesugonda. It’s a lot of early mornings for us. The cows need milking before the sun is even up properly. We spend most of our time cleaning the sheds and making sure the animals have enough fodder. It isn't a glamorous job and your clothes always smell like the farm at the end of the day. We have a few workers from the village who help with the heavy lifting and the feeding. Dealing with livestock is unpredictable, sometimes a cow gets sick or the milk production goes down, and you just have to handle it as it comes. We sell the milk locally and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. The farm is just a basic setup, nothing like those big industrial places you see on TV. We know each of our animals pretty well. Potharajpally is a quiet place, so it’s a good spot for a farm. Sometimes the delivery truck is late or the weather makes things difficult, but that’s just how farm life is. We focus on getting the daily work done and making sure everything stays running. It's a simple life but there's always something that needs fixing or cleaning around the yard. Most of our neighbors know where we are and stop by for milk whenever they need it for their tea or cooking.
