Aruna Farms

Out here at Aruna Farms, we don't have much time for sitting around. Our place is at H.No:-11-6 in Khanapur, Warangal. It’s a busy little farm where there is always a list of chores longer than the day itself. We grow a few different things depending on what time of year it is. Sometimes the crops do well and sometimes they don't, that is just the way of it. We use the old tractor mostly, and when that breaks down, we just have to get under it and fix it ourselves. There is no one else to call out here. The soil in Khanapur can be stubborn, so we have to spend a lot of time preparing the ground before we even put a single seed in. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to get through the week and make sure the chores are done. It is a lot of heavy lifting and being out in the sun until your skin gets dark. Our address at H.No:-11-6 is home for us, so the line between work and living is pretty thin. We might be having dinner and then realize a fence is down, so we have to go out with a flashlight. It is a simple way of living, but it is ours. We just keep doing what needs to be done.
