Arjana Vegetables Market

Our market is at House Number 3-19 in Narayanapura, which is part of Kotha Thanda in Kuravi. It’s a local spot where we bring in vegetables every day. Most of the produce comes from nearby fields, so it’s whatever is in season. We start very early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up, to get everything laid out. The space is simple, just some stalls and crates. It’s not like a big supermarket with air conditioning. It can get a bit loud and crowded when everyone comes to shop at the same time. We know most of the people who come here by name because they live in the Thanda or in Narayanapura. We don't really have a big staff, just the family and some neighbors helping out. We spend a lot of time sorting through the vegetables to make sure the bad ones are tossed out. It’s a lot of bending and lifting, which can be tiring. The floor is usually a bit damp from washing the vegetables, and there's always the smell of fresh greens in the air. We don't do any fancy advertising. People just know where we are. We've been at this location for a while now. It’s a basic way of life, but it serves the community. We just try to provide what people need for their kitchens every day. It is hard work but it keeps us going.
