Anthaiah Milk Products

In the village of Bodlada, Nellikudur, life revolves around the animals. Our place is at H.No:-2-343, and it’s where we handle all the milk products. The day starts very early here, usually around four in the morning when the first deliveries arrive. It’s a lot of cleaning, boiling, and chilling. Everything has to stay clean because milk spoils so fast in this heat. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place with the right equipment for processing. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy brand name. In Bodlada, everyone knows whose milk is whose. We mostly supply to the local shops and some families nearby. The smell of fresh milk is everywhere here. Our floors are wet most of the day because we are constantly washing things down. It’s physical work, moving heavy cans and making sure the temperature is just right. We’ve been doing this in Nellikudur for years. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a pump or a cooling unit, which is frustrating. But mostly, it’s a steady routine. We aren't looking to expand into a giant dairy corporation. We just want to keep the local supply going and make sure the quality is decent for the people who buy from us every day. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We wouldn't know what else to do with ourselves.
