At Anil Kumar Milk Products, we keep things pretty straightforward. We are over at H. No:-1-24 in Bojjannapet, right in the Narsimhulapet area. Every morning starts early with the cows. We milk them and get everything ready for the day’s deliveries. It is a messy job, but the milk is fresh and that is what matters to the people around here. We don't have a big factory or automated lines, just some buckets, cooling tanks, and our own two hands. We make some curd and maybe a bit of butter if there’s enough left over. Most of the neighbors just walk over with their own steel cans to get what they need for their families. We know everyone by name, and sometimes the kids come by to see the calves. It’s a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We deal with the heat and the flies and the early hours because that’s the life of a dairy farmer. Sometimes the cows are stubborn, and sometimes the power goes out, which makes keeping things cold a bit of a scramble. We just do our best to make sure the village has their milk every single day without fail. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to the ground and the animals we raise. There’s always cleaning to be done after the milking is finished.
