Amrutha Farms

At Amrutha Farms, we stay pretty busy with the day-to-day stuff. We are located over at H. No:-Tekulathanda, Khanapur, Warangal. It is a decent spot of land but it takes a lot of effort to keep it looking alright. We get up when the sun comes up and usually don't stop until it is getting dark again. There is always a fence that needs mending or some weeds that are taking over a corner of the field. We don't have any big corporate office or anything like that, just our house and the sheds where we keep the supplies. Khanapur is a nice enough area, and being in Tekulathanda means we have some space to breathe. We mostly just look after the crops and see how the soil is doing. Some years are better than others depending on how much water we get from the sky. We try not to worry too much about things we can't control. It’s a lot of sweating and getting your hands dirty, but that is just part of the job. We don't really use complicated systems, just regular tools and a lot of patience. If you come by the farm, you'll probably see us out in the middle of it all, just trying to get through the list of things to do. It isn't glamorous work but it is honest and it keeps us occupied throughout the year.
