Akshay Winding & Electrical Works

Akshay Winding & Electrical Works is basically a workshop run out of Khanapur. We're located at house number 3-137/1 in Pakhalashoknagar. It’s a local neighborhood, so everyone kind of knows where we are. We spend most of our days dealing with copper wire and burnt-out motors. If a motor stops working, people bring it here and we see if we can wind it back up. It’s messy work, and your hands get dirty pretty fast. There’s always some piece of electrical equipment lying around on the floor waiting to be looked at. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical space where we can use our tools. Khanapur is a quiet place mostly, so we just focus on the jobs that come in. Sometimes we have to go out to fix something on-site, but mostly we're at the shop. The wiring can be tricky, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we have a feel for it. It’s just a small family-run type of thing. We don’t bother with big ads or anything. People just hear about us and stop by when their pump or fan stops spinning. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
