Akhil D.J Sound Systems

We run our sound business from my house in Chinna Kodepaka. The address is H.No:-3-66. It’s a small village in the Regonda area of Warangal. We have a storage area where we keep all the big speakers, the soundboards, and miles of cables. It’s a local setup. When someone has a wedding or a village festival, they come to us. We load the equipment onto a trolley and set it up at the venue. It is hard work because the speakers are very heavy and the weather is often quite hot. My brothers and I do most of the lifting and the wiring. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. We started with just a small set of speakers and now we have a much bigger system. We don't have an office in the town. We just use the space we have at home. Sometimes the cables get all tangled up after an event and it takes us the whole next day to straighten them out. It’s a good feeling when the music starts and everyone is dancing. We spend a lot of our nights at parties making sure the sound stays clear. We have to be careful when we travel because the village roads can be quite bumpy and we don't want the gear to bounce around. We just try to do a good job so people will call us again for their next event.
