Yakambram Fish Shop

I’ve been running Yakambram Fish Shop here in Chinnakorpole for a while now. Most people around Nekkonda know the spot at H. No -1-206. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get the fish in early. I spend most of my mornings sorting through what came in and making sure everything is ready for when people start stopping by. Some days are busier than others, especially when there's a festival or a weekend coming up. It gets pretty crowded in the small space then. We try to keep things simple. You come in, see what we have, and we wrap it up for you. My family helps out sometimes when I can’t manage it all alone. It’s hard work, getting up before the sun and dealing with ice and water all day, but it’s what we do. The floor usually stays a bit wet and there’s always that smell of the lake, but that’s just how a fish shop is. Neighbors drop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything that day. We know most of the faces around here. It isn't a big corporate operation or anything like that. Just me and the fish, really. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and that throws the whole morning off, but we manage. If you’re passing through this part of Nekkonda, you’ll see us right there at the house number. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep the fish fresh for everyone.
