Yak Pasha Hotel

If you are in Medapally, you might have seen the Yak Pasha Hotel. It is a small place in Nallabelly where we serve food to the local folks and people passing through. We don't have a menu with fifty different items on it. We just cook what is fresh and what people like to eat every day. The kitchen is always busy, and there is usually a pot of tea going on the stove. It’s not a fancy restaurant with tablecloths or waiters in uniforms. We just have some tables and chairs where you can sit down and get a hot meal. I spend most of my time making sure the food tastes right and the kitchen is clean. My family helps out with the serving and the cleaning up. Sometimes it gets really crowded during the lunch hour, and people have to wait a bit, but nobody seems to mind too much. We get a lot of workers and farmers who come in for a quick bite before heading back out. It’s a simple building and we don't have any big lights or signs. People know us because we’ve been here in Medapally for a while. We don't use any complicated recipes, just the things we learned from our parents. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing people finish their plates makes it worth it.
