About Rahan Chicken Center – Food & Beverages in Warangal Urban
My shop is at H. No -1-86 in Muthojipet, and I start my day long before most people are even awake. I have to get the fresh stock in and make sure everything is cleaned up properly before the first customers arrive. The smell of the shop is something I’ve gotten used to, though visitors might find it strong. I spend hours standing behind the counter with my knives, prepping the meat exactly how people like it. Some want it cut small for curry, and others want whole pieces for a Sunday feast. The floor is concrete and I wash it down with water multiple times a day to keep it tidy. It can get quite hot in Muthojipet, so I have to work fast to keep everything fresh. I have a small scale that’s been with me since I started, and it still works just fine. Regulars come in and we talk about the local news or the weather while I wrap their orders in plastic bags. It’s a messy job, and my clothes are usually stained by the time I close up, but it’s honest work. I don't have any help, so if I’m not here, the shutters stay down. It’s a small, simple spot that serves the neighborhood, and that’s plenty for me. I just focus on doing the job right so people come back next week for their regular supplies.
