If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Badi Masjid in the Subedari area of Hanamkonda. Our house number is 2-7-855. Being near the mosque means we always hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which kind of keeps us on schedule. This is Warangal, so it gets pretty dusty and warm, especially in the summer months. The Community Organisation & Devolopment Eleation Society isn't a big flashy operation. We just have our desks set up in this building and we do what we can for the folks around here. People drop by often just to talk or ask for help with different things. It gets a bit crowded sometimes with everyone squeezed into the rooms. We don't have a receptionist or anything. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority right now. We focus on the daily tasks. It is a lot of writing and talking to neighbors. Andhra Pradesh is a busy place and Hanamkonda feels like it's always growing. We try to keep things simple and honest here. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s just how things go. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and everyone knows where the society office is located. We keep the registers updated and talk to the locals.
