Sizzle Ceramic

Our place is right on the 8-a National Highway. It is easy to find if you are driving toward the coast, though sometimes people miss the turn because they are going too fast. Sizzle Ceramic is the name on the gate. It’s an industrial stretch of road, so there isn't much shade around here. We spend most of our time out in the main area where the actual work happens. The office is just a small room with a fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise. We’ve been meaning to get it fixed but never seem to get around to it. The traffic on the highway never really stops, so you get used to that hum in the background. Most of our days are spent dealing with what’s right in front of us. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. We just talk over tea in the mornings and decide what needs to be moved or organized. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust, which is normal for this line of work. We know the truck drivers who pass through here regularly. It’s a simple life, focused on the daily tasks. We don’t worry about much else. The sun sets right behind the building, which is probably the nicest part of the day. Then we lock up and head home to start again tomorrow. There is always something to be done around here.
