Suligiri Balishwaramma

Our place is at 3-9 in Manchalakatta village. It’s tucked away in the Kollapur mandal. Suligiri Balishwaramma is the name on our papers. We have been here for a good while, just taking things one day at a time. The house number 3-9 is where you can find us if you are walking through the village. Manchalakatta is a quiet area where not much happens out of the ordinary. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we do. The district is big, but Kollapur feels like its own little world. We get up early and start the day before the sun gets too high. Suligiri Balishwaramma isn't a name you'll see on billboards, but the locals know it well enough. We don't try to be something we aren't. There’s a lot of manual work involved and we don't mind the sweat. The neighbors are good people who mind their own business mostly. We use simple tools and keep things basic. Being at 3-9 means we are close to the center of the village activities. We don't have a website or a fancy phone system. If someone needs us, they just come to the door at Manchalakatta. It's a plain way of living, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without looking for any extra praise or attention from anyone.
