We hang out at D No 21 in Peddahyata village most days, which is part of the Holagunda Mandal. It's a quiet place where we deal with livestock and organize things for the local farmers. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where people drop in to talk about their animals or check on their orders. Holagunda Livestock Farmer Producer Company Limited started because there were a lot of folks around here doing the same kind of work but not really talking to each other. Now we all sit around this one desk mostly. The fans keep things moving when it gets really hot in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit on the porch for a bit. It’s mostly just us trying to keep track of what’s happening in the fields and making sure everyone gets what they need for their livestock. Big staffs aren't our thing, just a few of us who know the area well. If you come looking for us, look for the big door at number 21. Peddahyata is a small place so you can't really miss it if you ask someone on the main road. Calling up the different members to see how their cattle are doing takes up a lot of time. It's a lot of manual work and checking ledgers by hand. Anyway, that’s what goes on here daily and we just keep at it.
