We spend most of our time here at General Motors right by the Wanakbori Thermal Power Station. It is a busy spot. You can see the chimneys from a long way off. Most days are just about getting the work done and dealing with the heat from the station nearby. It gets dusty. We drink a lot of tea in the mornings before things get moving. The road here is usually full of trucks. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a place where we show up and do what needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is funny considering where we are. We have a small crew. We know the local shops around here. Lunch is usually brought from home in tiffin boxes. We sit outside when it isn't too hot. The station has its own rhythm and we just follow along with it. It’s been this way for a while now. We don’t really change much. We just keep the site running. People stop by to ask for directions sometimes because the plant is such a big landmark. We tell them where to turn. It’s just normal life for us. Not much else to say. We are just here at the Wanakbori site every day, rain or shine. The monsoon changes everything, the ground gets muddy and we have to be careful with the vehicles. But mostly it's just dry and hot. We stay busy enough to keep the days going fast. Sometimes we stay late when there is extra to do.
