Kartik Steels

Kartik Steels is located at number 62 in the Sipcot Industrial Complex. Ranipet is a hot place, especially in the summers, and working in an industrial area doesn't make it any cooler. We spend most of our time out on the floor or in the small office area. There’s always the sound of metal moving around. We’ve been here for a good few years now. It’s an industrial life, really. We see the same faces every morning when the shifts start. We deal with various steel products, mostly for other businesses around the complex. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a showroom. It’s more of a functional space. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the trucks, but we manage. My brother helps with the accounts, and we have a few guys who handle the heavy stuff. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on getting the orders right. The road inside Sipcot can be a bit bumpy, so you have to drive slow when you're coming to see us. It’s a straightforward operation. We open up early, drink some coffee, and get to work. It’s loud, it’s metallic, and it’s what we do. If you’re looking for 62, it’s just past the main gate area. We’re usually there until the sun goes down. Most of our equipment is older, but it still works fine for what we need. We don't need much else to keep things running.
