Jay Agro Industries is based out of Plot No. 1043. We don't have a big fancy street name, just the plot number where we do all our work. Most of what we do involves agricultural equipment or processing stuff for the local farmers. It’s a dusty job because of all the grain or soil that comes through here depending on the season. Along with some basic machinery for grinding or sorting, there is a fair amount of storage space for the seasonal harvest. Just a handful of us work here, and we usually know what needs to be done without having to talk about it too much. During the harvest time, things get really frantic and we’re working around the clock. The rest of the year is a bit slower, giving us time to fix the equipment and prepare for the next rush. An office with a receptionist is not something we have. If you want to talk to us, just walk into the shed and find whoever isn't busy with a machine. It's a very straightforward way of doing business. Dealing with people face-to-face is how we handle most things. Sometimes the weather affects how much work we have, especially if the rains are late or too heavy. Taking it as it comes is just part of the job. It’s a practical life, working with what the land provides and helping the local agriculture cycle keep moving.
