Our small unit is at number 2 in the Sarvodaya Industrial Estate. We are located at Khatamba, which is near Ankol. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big city hubs, but the estate stays busy enough with all the local businesses nearby. We have a simple workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. The road out here can be a bit rough after the rains, so we usually have to watch how we load the trucks. It’s a basic setup without any of the bells and whistles you see in the new tech parks. We have our machines, a few benches, and a place to sit and have tea. The air is a bit clearer out here in Khatamba than in the middle of town. Most of the guys working here live nearby and walk or ride their bikes in. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone sitting in a suit. We just handle the production ourselves and make sure the items are ready when someone comes to pick them up. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’ve been at this plot for some time now and the neighbors in the Sarvodaya estate are all good people doing similar work. We just keep to ourselves and focus on making sure the day goes smoothly without any unnecessary drama.
