Universal Packaging

Universal Packaging is located over at Plot No. 3, Udyognagar. We have been here for a good while now, right near the gas godown, which makes us easy to find if you know the area. Mostly, the day consists of dealing with boxes and rolls of wrap. The floor is almost always covered in some kind of paper scrap or bits of tape. It gets pretty loud because the machines do not really stop until late in the evening. My hands are usually dry from handling all that cardboard and glue every single day. We start our shift early, usually before the sun gets too hot over the workshop roof. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go to take a break. Some days are just about moving big stacks from one side of the room to the other to make space. It is not a fancy place at all. The office is just a small room with a wooden desk that has seen better days. We get the orders, we make the stuff, and then it goes out on a truck. Sometimes the truck shows up late, so we just sit on the crates and wait. That is just how it goes here in Udyognagar. People come in asking for specific sizes, and we just try to figure it out right there. It is busy, dusty, and honest work. The neighbors are alright and we help each other out if a machine acts up.
