Sainath Fabrication sits on Plot No. 27 over in the Suvikas Phase-3 area. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing fancy, just a big open space where we can move steel beams and welding tanks around without bumping into things. We spend most of our hours under the welding masks, so we don't see the sun much until we step outside for a break. The air smells like burnt ozone and metal, which is something you just get used to after a week on the job. We aren't a big company with layers of management. If there's a problem, we just talk it out right there on the shop floor while we work. Our tools are worn down from years of use, but they still work better than the new stuff sometimes. We don't spend money on fancy office chairs or decorations because we're rarely sitting down anyway. Most of our day is spent standing on the concrete floor, measuring, cutting, and joining pieces together. It’s physical work and it makes your back ache by five o’clock, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a pile of raw steel turn into something useful. We’ve been in Phase-3 for a good bit of time now, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a living, and it’s a good one for us. We don't plan on moving anywhere else as long as there is work to do.
