At Arihant Cables Switch Gears, we operate out of Plot No. 2026/1 in Phase-4. It is a big space because cables and switch gears take up a huge amount of room. Most of the time, the warehouse floor is covered with big reels of wire and heavy boxes waiting to be moved. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear nice shoes or clothes. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks at the bay. The warehouse gets quite chilly in the winter and very stuffy when it is raining outside. We have got a small crew here. Some of the guys have been with us for years and know exactly where everything is kept. We do not really have a lot of meetings or anything like that. We just talk about what needs to go out that day while we are having our morning tea. Phase-4 is a bit of a maze if you are not used to the street numbers. We often have to give directions over the phone to delivery drivers who get lost looking for us. Our office is just a small partitioned area with a couple of desks and a lot of catalogs piled up. It is functional and gets the job done. We do not bother with fancy signs. People who need cables usually know where to find us. It is a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking labels.
