Ankur Ceramics

We are located at Plot No. 1702 in Phase-4. If you know this part of the industrial area you know it can be a bit of a drive out here. We deal with ceramics which basically means a lot of clay and high temperatures. Our workshop is usually covered in a fine layer of white dust no matter how much we sweep but that is part of the charm I guess. We have got several large kilns that stay hot for days and you can feel the heat as soon as you walk through the door. It’s not the most comfortable environment but we are used to it. I started this place because I liked working with my hands and now we have a small crew helping out. We make all sorts of ceramic items for different uses. Some days we are just mixing batches of material and other days we are packing finished pieces into crates. It is heavy work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the week. There isn't much to see out here in Phase-4 besides other factories and a few small canteens. We mostly stay focused on the orders we have on the board. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the gate and we show them what we’ve got ready. It’s a simple way to run a business but it works for us.
