Champkraft Machine Tools

We are located at Plot No. 1915-16 on Road No. L-26 in Phase IV of the G.I.D.C. industrial area. It’s a big area with lots of workshops and factories all around us. You can hear the sound of metal hitting metal and machines running from early in the morning. Our place is full of machine tools and parts that we deal with every day. There is always a smell of oil and grease in the air, which you just get used to after the first few minutes. The floor is concrete and has some stains on it from over the years. We have a small office area partitioned off where the paperwork gets done, but most of the time is spent out where the tools are. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of big industrial fans blowing to keep the air moving. We don't have any polished showrooms; it’s just a working shop where things happen. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, and there’s a bit of shouting to get them to move. We have our lunch on a wooden bench near the back door where there’s a bit of a breeze. It’s hard work, and your hands usually end up dirty by the end of the shift. That’s just how it goes in Phase IV. We just keep the machines moving and the orders going out.
