Shree Vaishnav Wire Rod Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Gut No. 8 78. We are just off the Bharat Fertilizer Road in the village of Kharewali, which is in the Wada taluka. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, away from the main towns and traffic. The factory floor is loud and there is always a lot of heat coming from the machinery when it’s running. We deal with metal all day long, so it is heavy and tiring work for everyone involved. The yard is usually piled high with coils and rods waiting to be loaded onto the big trucks. Most of our workers live nearby in the village and walk or bike to the site every morning. The office is just a small room at the front with a fan that clicks every time it rotates. It gets very dusty out here, especially in the dry season when the trucks kick up the dirt from the unpaved parts of the road. We have a small shed where we eat lunch and take our tea breaks. Wada is a big industrial area now, but our spot in Kharewali still feels quite rural and quiet when the machines are off. We don't have fancy meetings or anything like that. We just look at the orders and make sure the machines are running properly and safely. It’s tough work and the days are long, but we’ve been doing it this way for years.
