Taunk Khatri & Associates

We’ve got our office at number 113 in Ward No. 16, Chandaniya Para. This is in the Janjgir-Champa district. Taunk Khatri & Associates has been here for years, and it’s a fairly quiet place to work. We handle a lot of the local paperwork and business filings that folks around here need. The building is just a regular spot in the neighborhood. Inside, we have rows of green filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. It’s not a corporate environment with glass walls. We prefer it this way because people feel comfortable just walking in to ask a question. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the windows and keep working by the natural light. We know most of the shopkeepers and families in the area. Our work is mostly about numbers and legal details, which can be a bit dry, but we find it interesting enough. There’s always a stack of documents waiting to be sorted. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done right. Janjgir is a small place, and news travels by word of mouth, so we just try to be helpful to whoever comes through the door. It’s a steady routine of meetings and typing. We usually close up when the sun goes down. It’s an honest living and we like being part of the local community.
