Patidar Agro Centre

Our place is in Vyara over in the Madhopuri area. It is where the farmers come when they need stuff for their fields. We have bags of seeds stacked up against the walls and different containers for the crops. It smells like earth and fertilizer in here, which I have grown to like over time. Depending on the season, we change what we keep in stock. Right now, everyone is asking about the same few things because of the rains. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their land and what is growing well or what is dying. We are not experts, but we have seen enough over the years to know what usually works. The shop is simple, with a wooden desk and some ledgers where we write everything down. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road in Madhopuri, and we have to help them move things quickly. It is a local spot, so we know most of the people who walk through the door. We don't have fancy displays or lights. Just the supplies people need to get their work done. When it is quiet, we sit by the door and watch the motorbikes go by. It is steady work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year. Farmers have a hard job so we just try to have what they need ready.
