We are located out in Varad Alkapuri, over in Vadodara. Our facility is where we handle the processing of various pulses. It is a large space because we need room for the machinery and the big sacks of raw grains that come in from the farms. Most of the day is spent listening to the hum of the sorters and the cleaners. We have a small team of people who watch the lines to make sure everything is moving along as it should. It is not the kind of place that looks like a fancy office. It is a workspace with concrete floors and high ceilings. We spend a lot of time checking the pulses and making sure they are clean before we pack them into the bags. Vadodara has been a good place for this kind of work. The weather can be hot, which helps with keeping things dry, but it makes the work inside the shed quite warm. We have a routine that we follow every single day, starting with the first truck delivery in the morning. There is always a lot of dust in the air from the grain hulls, so we keep the doors open for some breeze. We are just a group of people doing a practical job, making sure the pulses are ready for the market. It is steady work and it keeps us all busy here.
