If you drive down Nagayalanka Road in Mopidevi Mandalam, you will find Sai Srinivasa Rice Traders. We are at Plot No. 4-19.1 in the Krishna district. It is a rural area where rice is a big part of everyone's life. Our yard is usually full of yellow bags stacked high. We move them around all day long. The sun can be quite hot out here on Nagayalanka Road, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We are not a big company with a fancy headquarters. We are just traders who know the local market. My relatives help me out with the books and the loading. We see a lot of farmers and truck drivers coming through. Mopidevi is a place where people value hard work over fancy words. We do not have a marketing department. We just have our reputation and the bags of rice we trade. Sometimes the road gets muddy after the rain and it is hard for the trucks to get in. We just deal with it as it comes. It is a simple business based on the local crops. We spend most of our time outside or in the small office by the gate. We are just regular people making a living in Krishna. It is not always easy, but we have been doing it for a long time. We just handle the grain and keep the business moving.
