Vudathu Suryanarayan Murthy & Sons

Our shop is located at D.No. 8-1-103 right on M.G. Road. It is a family name on the sign, and that is exactly how we run things every day. Vudathu Suryanarayan Murthy & Sons has been a fixture on this street for quite some time now. The road is always crowded with people, and the dust from the heavy traffic comes right in through the front door, but that is just life in this part of the city. We deal with various goods, and since it is a family-run business, you will usually find one of the sons or the father sitting at the main desk. We do not have a human resources department or a marketing team. If there is a problem with an order, we just talk it out among ourselves until it is fixed. The shelves are packed with stuff we have collected over the years, and sometimes it takes a minute or two to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We do not really mind the clutter; it just shows we have been busy. People come to us because they know we have been in the same spot forever. We do not make big promises, we just try to provide what people need at a price that makes sense. Working with family can be loud sometimes, with plenty of arguing, but we always close up the shop together at the end of the day.
