Vikas Hosptal

Vikas Hosptal is right here in the middle of the city. Being in a central location means we never really have a quiet moment. There’s always someone coming or going through the front doors. We’ve seen the city change a lot around us over the years, but the hospital stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a labyrinth inside with all the different hallways and small rooms. We try to keep things moving, but sometimes there’s a wait. That’s just how it is in a busy place like this. The staff eats lunch whenever they can catch a break. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or a big cafeteria. Most of us just bring food from home. The building shows its age in some spots, like the squeaky floorboards or the windows that stick. But it’s a solid place. We handle everything from small scrapes to bigger issues. People know us as the local spot where they don’t have to put on an act. We’re just regular people working here. Some nights the emergency light flickers, and we have to give it a tap. It’s not perfect, but it’s our workplace. We don’t spend money on big signs or flyers. We just rely on being here when people need us. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and filling out paperwork. That’s what a city hospital is like. Every day is different and we just keep going.
