Tirumala Hospital

Tirumala Hospital is located right near the R.T.C. Complex in Vizianagaram. Being so close to the bus station means there is always a lot of movement outside. You can hear the buses and the people shouting all day long. We get a lot of patients from the surrounding areas of Andhra Pradesh who take the bus just to come here. The hospital itself is a practical building with several floors. It’s not a luxury place by any means. The floors are made of simple tile, and the walls are painted a plain color. We have a lot of beds, and they are usually full. The staff stays very busy, and sometimes you can tell they are worn out, but they keep going. We don’t have a big lobby with sofas. Instead, we have rows of plastic chairs where people wait. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep the air moving. We deal with all kinds of medical issues, and it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. There is no fancy technology or high-end decor here. We just have what we need to treat the people who come through the door. It’s a noisy, busy place, but it’s also where a lot of important work gets done. We just take each day as it comes and try to help the folks from Vizianagaram and the nearby villages.
