Tea Time

You can find our shop, Tea Time, at 659/22 on Murukuri Mansion Road. We are right in the heart of Kothavalasa. It’s a small, busy place that’s usually humming with people. We mostly focus on making good, strong tea for the workers and travelers who pass by. It’s a modest setup with a big stove and some benches for people to rest their legs. We aren't a corporate franchise. It’s just a local business we started to serve the community. The mornings are always a bit of a scramble to get the milk and tea leaves delivered on time. We often have a bit of a crowd standing around outside, talking and drinking from glass tumblers. The road is always full of noise from the buses and bikes going past. We don't have a fancy menu or anything like that. People just ask for what they want and we make it. The walls are a bit stained from the steam, and the floor needs sweeping every hour, but that’s just how a busy tea shop is. We work long hours, often from before sunrise until late at night. It’s tiring being on your feet all day in the heat, but we get to talk to all kinds of people. We just try to keep the tea consistent and the service fast. It’s a basic, honest shop for the local folks here in Kothavalasa.
