Sarva Jana Sevaka Foundation

Sarva Jana Sevaka Foundation is located over at Tetteduvalasa. We’re basically running things out of P Paramesh’s place in Peddavalasa, which is part of Pachipenta Mandal. It’s a quiet village and the air is usually pretty fresh compared to the city. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy reception desk. Mostly, people just walk up to the house and ask for Paramesh if they need something. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or visiting folks nearby. It’s not the kind of work you do sitting behind a computer all day. In fact, our internet connection is pretty spotty anyway, so we do most of our record-keeping in big paper ledgers. The roads around here can get really muddy when the monsoon hits, so things slow down a bit during that time of year. We don't mind much. It gives us a chance to sit on the porch and plan for the next season. We started this because we saw that a lot of people in the 535592 area were struggling with small things that we could help with. We don't have any big slogans or goals that sound like they came from a corporate book. We just help our neighbors when they’re short on hands or need some advice on local matters. It’s a simple way of living and I guess we’ve gotten used to the slow pace of it all. It works for us.
