Ravi Coffee

Ravi Coffee is tucked away on Raj Talkies Road, specifically at 2-54-571. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside the shop, but we make it work. Most of the space is taken up by the grinding machines and the bags of beans waiting to be processed. Being near the talkies means we get a lot of people walking by after the movies let out. Some of them have been buying their coffee from us for years and years. They don't even have to say what they want; I just see them coming and start weighing the powder. The machines make a high-pitched whirring sound that makes it hard to hear the radio sometimes. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a wooden counter, a few shelves, and the smell of fresh coffee hanging in the air. Sometimes the grinder gets stuck if a stone gets in there, and I have to take the whole thing apart to fix it. That's usually when a line starts to form, but people around here are mostly patient. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets. The shop is old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s home to me. It’s just a regular part of the street here, nothing more and nothing less.
