Down in Kandivalasa Village, our place takes up a lot of room across those plots from 123 to 144. It’s out in the Pusapatirega Mandal area, so it’s not like being in the middle of a big city. You see a lot of greenery around before you get to the gates. Inside, the work is mostly about power systems, which keeps everyone busy through their shifts. The air can get warm, especially in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We’ve been operating here for a long time. People from the village and nearby areas come in to work every day. It’s a large site, so you end up walking a lot between the different sections. You get used to the sound of the machines and the trucks coming in to drop off supplies or take things away. It isn't a flashy office with carpets; it's a practical place where people get their hands dirty and focus on the tasks. We eat lunch together and talk about the local news or how the weather is changing. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine needs fixing, and that’s just part of the routine. Working in a place like this makes you appreciate the quiet of the village when the shift ends. It’s just a steady, honest job for all of us here at the plant.
