Associate Project Engineer

Working as an Associate Project Engineer out here in Kothavalasa is a bit different from working in the big cities. The office is actually part of the home of Yerrapraveen Kumar, who is the son of Mutyalu. We are located in Kothavalasa Village, within the Mondal area of the Vizianagaram District. It’s a rural setting, so things move at a different pace here. Most of our work involves heading out to various project sites and then coming back here to finish the reports and engineering drawings. The roads can be dusty and the sun is often very strong in this part of Andhra Pradesh. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building with a sign out front. It is just a practical setup for an engineer to get things done. Being in the 535183 area means we are close to the people we are actually building things for. We spend a lot of time on our feet and not as much time behind a desk as you might think. It is a lot of practical problem-solving on the ground. When we are at the office, it’s mostly about checking measurements and making sure the plans are right. Life here is simple and we focus on the engineering projects that need to be finished. It’s hard work, but it feels good to see something actually get built in the local area. We’ve been here for a good while.
