Suresh Industry

My name is Suresh and this is my small industry located at MIG 45 in the APHB Colony of Babamatta. It’s a residential colony, but we have a small workshop area set up where we do our fabrication and manual work. The neighbors are used to the sound of the machines by now, though I try to keep it down in the evenings. We started out small and haven’t changed much since then. The space is filled with metal scraps and tools scattered across the benches. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but I know exactly where everything is kept. I have a few workers who come in every morning to help with the heavy lifting and the welding. We mostly make small parts for other bigger businesses nearby. The roof is made of tin, so it gets quite loud when it rains. I spend most of my day out here on the floor rather than sitting in an office. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales team. People just find us through word of mouth or by seeing the work we’ve done for others in the colony. It's hard work and the grease gets on everything, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in. It’s a local business through and through, and we plan on staying that way for a long time. We try to be fair and just keep the machines running.
