Jitendra Kumar & Co is based at 413 Jyotiba Nagar, Alawade, right in the heart of Kalbadevi. If you know Kalbadevi, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and the narrow lanes. Our place is in Jyotiba Nagar. It is a small office, but it is ours. We have been here for many years. We started out with just a tiny space and grew it a little bit over time. The walls are covered with shelves that hold all our files and items. It is not the most modern place, but it works for us and the people we deal with. We spend a lot of time just sitting and talking with folks who come in to do business. The area is full of energy, and there is always someone shouting or a bell ringing from a nearby cart. We usually arrive early to beat the worst of the crowds. The light in the office isn't great, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. We are just regular people working a regular job. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find us by word of mouth or because they have been coming here for decades. It is a simple life and we are happy with how things are going in our little corner of the market. Sometimes we close up a bit late when the orders are high.
