You can find us over in the Patel Venkatappa Complex on Magadi Main Road. We are right across from where the Syndicate Bank is, or where people usually look for it. Sunkadakatte is a busy area, and there’s always a lot of dust from the traffic on the main road. Inside the shop, we have piles of material and various tools scattered around because there is always a bag or a seat cover that needs fixing. It’s a bit cramped in here with all the sewing machines and rolls of fabric, but we know where everything is. We started this because there was a need for it in the neighborhood, and we just kept going. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there’s a stack of work waiting for us when we open up in the morning. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing the sign when they drive past or coming in because a neighbor told them about us. The lights inside are a bit dim, and the floor is usually covered in scraps of thread and vinyl, but it’s a working shop. We take things as they come and try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the complex near the bank. We’ll be in there somewhere, likely working on a custom order or finishing up a repair.
