If you know the Jagadamba Junction area, you know how loud it gets with all the traffic and people moving toward the beach or the shops. We are tucked away in the Doctors and Doctors Plaza on KGH Down Road. It’s one of those buildings where you really have to look for the sign the first time you visit. Coming down the road is always a bit of a challenge with the parking situation around the junction. Inside the clinic, it’s a different world from the street noise. We have the mats laid out and all the equipment for the exercises. People come in with all sorts of injuries, some from sports and others just from getting older and stiffer. You’ll hear the sound of pulleys clicking and people breathing hard while they do their reps. We spend a lot of time on our feet moving between the treatment tables. The floor is easy to clean which is good because it gets dusty from the road outside. We have a small desk where we keep the files and the phone rings pretty often with people asking for directions. It’s not a fancy spa or anything like that. It’s a place where you come to sweat a bit and get moving again. Most of our regulars are locals who walk over from the nearby streets. We keep the lights bright and try to stay organized even when three people show up at once. It’s a busy life here but we like it.
