Operating near Town Kotha Road means we are always in the middle of the transport buzz. Our life revolves around schedules, truck drivers, and boxes of all sizes. It’s a busy spot and there is rarely a quiet moment during the day. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking where a particular load has reached. Things don't always go according to plan. A tire might blow out or there’s a delay at a checkpoint, and then we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing the schedule. We aren't a giant shipping company with thousands of ships. We are just a local team making sure things move from point A to point B. The office is small and usually has a few drivers sitting around waiting for their papers. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the long shifts. It’s a bit dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on the main road. My nephew helps with the computer work because I prefer the old way of keeping notes. We've been in this area for years, so we know the shortcuts and the people to call when things get stuck. It’s a lot of manual work and stress, but it feels good when a delivery finally makes it to the warehouse on time. We just keep our heads down and keep the trucks moving. If you come by, you'll probably see us arguing over a map or a manifest.
