Synergies Castings Limited

Our place is located at Unit 3 in the Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone, or Vsez as most people call it. It’s out in Duvvada. Being in a special zone means there are a lot of rules and gates to go through, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Synergies Castings Limited is basically a foundry setup. It gets hot, there is a lot of dust, and the machines are heavy. We deal with metal casting, so it’s physical work. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time. We aren’t located in the middle of the city, so it’s a bit of a commute for some of us coming from different parts of Visakhapatnam. The environment inside the zone is very industrial, just rows of different factories and warehouses. We don't have a flashy front office or anything. It's mostly just the production floor and some basic desk space for the paperwork. Shipping things out involves a lot of trucks and logs. Sometimes there are delays at the port or with the transport, but that’s just part of being in this business. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the molds and the metal. It’s a lot of routine. We start early, work through the shifts, and try to keep things moving. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we take it one day at a time here in Duvvada. That's pretty much what we do every day.
