You can find Swaran Singh & Company at No.5-4-45, Block-A-3 in Autonagar. This part of town is full of workshops and small factories. It’s a lot of noise, mostly the sound of metal hitting metal and engines revving up. Our spot is just a typical industrial unit. We have a small area for the office and a larger space where we keep all the equipment. The floors are usually a bit oily and there is always a layer of dust on the shelves, no matter how much we clean. We don't have any polished signs or big advertisements. People just know where we are. We have been in Block-A-3 for a long time, so we know all the other business owners on the street. We often help each other out when someone is short on tools or needs a hand with a heavy load. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t wear suits here; it’s mostly just work shirts and boots. A lot of our time is spent on the phone or checking the gear in the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting through the daily list of things to do. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage. It’s just a normal day at the shop for us in Autonagar.
