Stores Asst

My name is M. Prkasharao, and you can usually find me working on Bhoopaala Rao Street in Srikakulam. I work as a stores assistant here. It’s a small operation compared to the big city firms, but we stay busy enough. The street itself is an old part of town, so things are a bit tight and the buildings are close together. I handle the inventory and make sure nothing goes missing from the stock. It’s mostly just me and a couple of other people involved in the day-to-day stuff. I grew up around here, so I know most of the people who walk by. The work isn't fancy, just counting, sorting, and making sure the orders are ready. Srikakulam can get really hot, so the store is usually the coolest place to be in the afternoon. I don't use any fancy computers; it's mostly paper and pen for me. If someone needs something, they just come down the street and ask. I’ve got a routine down where I check everything first thing in the morning. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the narrow roads, but we manage to get by. It’s a quiet life, really. I like being close to home and working with folks I’ve known for years. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a regular shop on a regular street where we do our best to keep things tidy. I just take it one day at a time and keep my ledgers clean.
